Hello there, I am so glad you're here!

My name is Alessandra and welcome to my blog! You'll find me lost in a book comfortable on my bed or in a cozy cafe'! If I'm not reading, I am most likely working on my blog! I graduated from Hudson County Community College with an Associate's Degree in English and I recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Marketing and Social Media from Saint Peter's University. I would love to have a career in publishing to work in the editing or marketing department.

I've always loved to read and write growing up, so I decided it was time to finally put my passion together and create this blog and my Bookstagram account where I share book reviews and more! You can find my Instagram to follow on the home page!

I truly find myself happy while reading. I love engaging in thrillers, mysteries, and rom-com's. I enjoy page-turning novels that I get lost in time with. How did I fall in love with reading? I love words that flow well together and result in a pleasing story. I love how intimate words sound together to articulate an emotion or a thought. I'm learning about different authors and the stories they tell. I find myself having a favorite book list but with each discovery of a new author I like, I feel the urge to buy their books to add to my collection immediately! I don't have a preference between my Kindle or the physical book; as long as I am reading, I enjoy both just the same. Happiness is books and books are happiness and this blog of mine that I created intertwines with the joy and fulfillment reading gives me too.

Re-designed my logo for the new year!	Got accepted as a virtual book reviewer with By The Book VBP on Instagram!	Bookstagram 1 year anniversary! (May 28th)
Reached 500 followers on Instagram in December!

Wrote my first Quarantine Journal entry on March 17th that inspired me to start a blog,	During a global pandemic, I decided to use the free time in quarantine to create an Instagram for my journal entries and books on May 28th.	Wrote my first book review!
The Little Boho Bookshop in Bayonne, NJ had to be the first business I wanted to share about!

Pepperoni on pizza, always.

Cookie dough ice cream is the best.
Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie.
Brunch is one of my favorite types of outings. French toast, crepes, and eggs benedict, oh my!
