This buddy read was done on Instagram with myself and one other person. I have no preference between a group buddy read or a one-on-one read; it's fun either way! We felt the same emotions for this beautiful story. Sometimes, we had to pit the book to the side just because of how intense the subject is (warning: abuse). Both of us were shocked with things that happened unexpectedly, but we had the same angst against one of the characters. For me, some things were predictable but I was left surprised with other situations that happened. We both gave this book a 4 out of 5 stars, but after writing my full in-depth review, I changed my rating to a complete 5 stars!

Why I chose this book: Colleen Hoover is a popular author and I wanted to see why! After I finished reading this one, I decided to start a collection of her books!
I would recommend it to: Those who enjoy romance novels and would like to get into this author as well. This is a great first book to introduce the author and to give her work a chance.
