I am happy to put this book in the spotlight with By The Book VBP! This title reminded me of my favorite Marvel movie, Guardians of the Galaxy. Baby Groot is absolutely adorable!
If you are a fan of sci-fi/fantasy series, I recommend diving into this one! It invloves creatures attempting to take over Earth in a modern world setting. This first book of the series dives into the plans of these invaders and the strong female main character, Red Hernandez, tries to stop the from corruption!
What I enjoyed from this author is Steven's writing and his perspective on a tough, independent woman. The concept of the entire story is interesting. The chapters are divided among different characters and they are short for a simple read!
